Surgical nurse and family nurse practitioner Andrea Hartzag brings a wealth of nursing experience with her to our practice. She is a board-certified registered nurse and has received numerous accolades throughout her career for outstanding care and nursing excellence. Known for her leadership skills and collaborative work with physicians, Andrea’s experience includes work with Alzheimer’s patients, multicultural groups, and overseeing patient care in surgical units.

Andrea earned her master’s degree in science in 2023 from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN, where she also completed her bachelor of science degree in nursing. She also holds an associate degree in applied science from Ocean County Community College in Toms River, NJ.

In addition to attending regular seminars on the prevention of pressure injuries, Andrea enjoys a multidisciplinary approach to medicine. She is an experienced Reiki practitioner with interests in functional, plant-based and Ayurvedic medicine.
