Dr. Ori Rackovsky carries dual board certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Rackovsky earned a bachelor of arts magna cum laude from Yeshiva University in New York City. He earned his medical degree, with distinction in research, from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. During medical school, Dr. Rackovsky was the recipient of the prestigious Medical Research Fellowship from Howard Hughes Medical Institute to support his research in digestive diseases. Following medical school, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai, during which time he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in recognition of outstanding mentoring and clinical skills. He completed his fellowship at Mount Sinai's Dr. Henry D. Janowitz Division of Gastroenterology, where he trained with leaders in the field of inflammatory bowel diseases.
Dr. Rackovsky’s work in liver fibrosis and inflammatory bowel disease has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at local, national, and international conferences.
